Where the product data comes from
The central product database combines open sources, manufacturer data and the offers of the shops. This page lists the sources and the licences under which we use them.
Principles
- We only use licensed or official sources.
- If a source requires attribution, it is shown below the product box or comparison table that uses its values – in the WordPress plugin and in the embed. These notices must not be removed.
- Amazon: Amazon content does not go into the central database, and Amazon prices are never recorded. With an Amazon account, price history, price alerts, deal lists and price signals are switched off.
- Prices and availability of other shops come from the APIs and data feeds of the partner programmes you connect in your account.
