What affilinode is, who it is for and how product boxes, price comparison and comparison tables get onto your WordPress site.
If you run a niche, tech or comparison site, you know the problem: products get replaced, prices change, links lead nowhere. Maintaining every box on every page by hand takes time – and dead products cost clicks. That is exactly where affilinode comes in.
What affilinode does
affilinode keeps your products, prices and affiliate links up to date in one central place. Your websites fetch the data via the WordPress plugin or, without WordPress, via an embed code (guide in German). Maintained once, a product is up to date on every site.
The main building blocks:
- Product boxes as a box, card, horizontal or compact – with the best offer, more offers and delivery time.
- Price comparison across shops: Amazon, Awin advertisers, your own WooCommerce shop, Tradedoubler and ADCELL.
- Comparison tables with the best value per row.
- Replacement and successor products: if a product is no longer available, the box automatically shows the successor or a suitable alternative.
- Post check: which published posts currently show unavailable products – sorted by clicks.
- Click statistics per box type without cookies or IP addresses, plus an A/B test for button texts.

One central product database
Behind the boxes is a product database with specifications from open sources and manufacturer data. If a source requires attribution, it is shown below the box. The data sources page lists them transparently.
Honest about Amazon
With an Amazon account, affilinode switches off price history, price alerts, deal lists and price signals, because the Amazon Associates policies require it. Amazon prices are never recorded. More on this in the post Amazon policy 6(y).
How to get started
- Create an account – 14 days with all features, no payment details. Afterwards your account continues on Basic, which is free forever.
- Install the plugin and enter your site’s API key.
- Insert a box – in the block editor or as a shortcode.
