Migration from other plugins
Switching should not mean editing hundreds of posts. affilinode transfers the products and renders your previous plugin’s shortcodes with its own boxes and current data as soon as you deactivate it.

How the move works
Under affilinode → Move you choose the source. “Analyse” counts posts, shortcodes and products, and “Transfer” requests the products from affilinode. This counts against the daily quota of product requests; ambiguous matches are resolved under Product import → Open choices.
Once the old plugin is deactivated, affilinode takes over its shortcodes. You switch compatibility mode on or off under Settings → Compatibility. Large moves can also run in batches via WP-CLI.
What keeps working
Affiliate Toolkit: [atkp_product] and [atkp_list] show the data from affilinode after the transfer. AAWP: [amazon box], [amazon link], [amazon fields] and [amazon table], plus bestseller and new-release lists, which become dynamic Amazon lists. AffiliateTheme: [produkte], [produktvergleich], [preisvergleich], [infobox] and [price].
Shortcodes from Lasso and Lasso Lite, AmaLinks Pro, ASA1 and ASA2 become boxes, buttons, text links, images or grids. Tracking IDs in the shortcodes stay the tracking ID of that box. Lasso links to other shops stay links with exactly the same target.
Amazon links and rewriting posts
The source “Amazon links (SiteStripe)” finds text and image links to Amazon, old iframe image links and short links such as amzn.to. Short links are only resolved when you click the button – throttled and after checking the service’s robots.txt.
For Lasso, AmaLinks Pro, ASA and Amazon links, step 4 “Convert posts” can replace the old shortcodes and links with affilinode shortcodes for good. A preview lists every spot with its replacement, and a revision is saved before every change, which “Undo” restores.
What is never transferred
affilinode does not read or transfer credentials, API keys or feed URLs of the old plugins. When moving from Lasso, AmaLinks Pro, ASA or Amazon links, only ASINs and the tracking IDs found are sent to affilinode – never the targets of links to other shops, other affiliate links or prices.
Some things are not reproduced; editors see a note instead: comparison tables from Lasso and AmaLinks Pro as well as ASA2 collections, smart collections and keyword lists. For AAWP, excluding filters, price limits and filters by title or ASIN are left out; for AffiliateTheme, [top_rated] and the theme’s filters. You rebuild comparison tables in the dashboard.

- Migration depends on your plan. If your plan does not include it, the plugin says so before a move from AAWP, AffiliateTheme or Affiliate Toolkit starts; the analysis still works.
- Compatibility mode stays off while the original plugin is active. Shortcode names used by another active plugin – such as WooCommerce’s [products] – are never taken over.
- affilinode updates dynamic Amazon lists at most every 24 hours through your Amazon account.
- For new content, use the affilinode shortcodes directly, for example [affilinode_link] and [affilinode_field] instead of [amazon link] and [amazon fields].
