Tools for pros
If you run several sites or prefer the command line, the plugin has the tools for it. They do the same as the buttons in the admin – just faster and repeatable.

What it does
- Export settings as JSON and import them with a preview
- WP-CLI commands for status, cache, sync, migration, settings and tracking IDs
- Multisite: network settings with per-site overrides
- Page caches cleared automatically after product changes
- Rewrite old shortcodes from before version 0.30
Export and import settings
“Download settings” saves all settings of the site as a JSON file – including automatic links, tariff calculators and your own templates. On the other site, “Check file” lists every setting that would change with its current and new value; nothing is saved until you click “Apply changes”.
Every value is checked just like in the form. Values missing from the file stay as they are, and an empty key never overwrites a saved one.
WP-CLI
wp help affilinode lists all commands: status, cache flush, sync, migrate, settings export and import, tracking sync and legacy. Handy for servers without a browser, cron jobs and large migrations.
An interrupted migration – for example when the daily quota runs out – continues where it stopped the next time you run the command.
Multisite and page caches
In a WordPress network you set many things once in the network admin; each subsite uses the network value or overrides it. A subsite only exports its own overrides and never takes over network-only settings.
When affilinode reports changed products, lists or comparison tables via webhook, the plugin clears the affected posts in LiteSpeed Cache, WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, WP Fastest Cache, SiteGround Optimizer, Breeze, Nginx Helper and Cloudflare. Price changes alone clear a post at most once an hour.
Rewrite old shortcodes
Up to version 0.29 the shortcodes were called [ac_product], [ac_list] and so on. They still work but will be removed in version 1.0. affilinode → Old shortcodes rewrites them to [affilinode_…] in posts, pages, reusable blocks, templates and widgets – only the names change, the attributes stay.
A revision is saved before every change, and the log can undo each one as long as the post has not been edited since. Nothing happens until you click.

- Secret keys (API key, webhook secret, MaxMind licence key) are only included with “Include secret keys” – in plain text. Keep that file safe.
- Only administrators can export and import; custom CSS is only taken over by administrators allowed to edit CSS.
- For Cloudflare without its plugin, enter an API token with “Zone → Zone → Read” and “Zone → Cache Purge → Purge”; it is stored encrypted.
- The WP-CLI commands are only loaded when WP-CLI runs. On multisite, choose the site with --url=… as usual.
