Templates and design
The boxes fit your site, not the other way round. Make small changes in the settings with a preview and build your own boxes in the template editor – links, tracking and required notices always stay correct.

Adjust the look
Under Settings → Layout you choose the button size (small, medium, large), the corner radius, the button colour on hover and one colour each for “test winner” badges, “value for money” badges and all others. The preview below shows sample products with your values before you save. Text colours are picked automatically for sufficient contrast.
For more, there is “Custom CSS” – only for administrators allowed to edit CSS. The easiest way is to set the CSS variables on .acp. The CSS only loads on pages with affilinode output.
Your own templates
Under affilinode → Templates you design your own product boxes, cards and list entries in HTML with placeholders such as {{title}}, {{price}} or {{{button}}}. Every placeholder is listed next to the editor and inserted with a click, errors show their line number, and the preview shows sample products as you type.
Links to the shop only work through {{{button}}} or {{{link_attrs}}} – so tracking ID, sub-IDs, /go/ redirects and click tracking always stay intact. Every link gets rel="sponsored nofollow". If a template leaves out the notice, the price date or the data sources, the plugin adds them below.
Templates can be exported and imported as JSON, one by one or all at once, and are part of the settings export.
AMP pages
On AMP pages of the official AMP plugin and of “AMP for WP”, the plugin renders every box on the server and loads no JavaScript. The styles come as a compact AMP variant, only for the boxes on the page. There is nothing to set up.
Interactive boxes become forms there: product search, product advisor and compatibility check reload the page with the result. Carousels become a row you can swipe.

- Templates contain no PHP and no eval; values are escaped automatically. Only administrators with the unfiltered_html capability may use arbitrary HTML.
- Limits: 30,000 characters per template, 8 levels of nesting, 50 templates per site.
- On AMP pages, templates with their own script, style, images or form elements fall back to the built-in layout. Click tracking, click statistics and the A/B test do not count on AMP pages.
- The mini card on text links has a fixed layout and cannot be changed with a template.
