Shops and affiliate programmes

affilinode fetches prices and availability from the affiliate programmes you have joined. You use your own accounts and tracking IDs, and the commission goes straight to you.

In all plans

What it does

  • Amazon via the Amazon Associates API, with your partner tag
  • Awin advertisers as shops of their own, via feed list or Publisher API
  • Tradedoubler, ADCELL, AliExpress Portals and Webgains
  • Your own WooCommerce shop and your own product feeds
  • eBay via the Browse API, always in a block of its own
  • Credentials stored encrypted

Add an affiliate programme

Under Affiliate programmes you choose the type, countries, marketplace and currency, then add the credentials. “Test connection” checks them for Amazon, Awin and WooCommerce. The ID per website – Amazon partner tag, Awin clickref and so on – goes under Websites → Tracking IDs.

“Find missing offers” searches the new shop for your existing products by ASIN, EAN or brand and model and matches unambiguous hits. The Status tab shows where money is lost: links without a partner ID, dead shop links or outdated prices.

Amazon and Awin

For Amazon you need an Amazon Associates account with API access; affilinode uses it to get prices and availability directly from Amazon. Amazon images are only embedded, never stored. Create a separate tracking tag for each website – it is the only way to assign Amazon earnings to a website.

For Awin you add an Awin account with your publisher ID and feed list key, then activate the advertisers you partner with as shops of their own. For each advertiser you choose the feed list (CSV) or the Publisher API.

Your own shop and your own feeds

Your WooCommerce shop becomes an affiliate programme like any other. For programmes without a connector of their own – direct programmes of merchants or smaller networks – there is the type “Own product feed”: the HTTPS address of a CSV or Google Shopping XML file whose links already are your affiliate links. affilinode syncs it every six hours.

eBay in a block of its own

You connect eBay with your eBay Partner Network account and your own keyset via the Browse API. affilinode searches by EAN, otherwise by brand and model – Buy It Now only, no auctions.

eBay offers always appear in a separate, labelled block “On eBay” below the box and the price comparison. They are never mixed with other shops, never count as the best price and are shown at most six hours after the last check.

Good to know

  • Which shop types you can use depends on your plan. Own product feeds belong to the plan feature “Own product feeds”.
  • With an Amazon account, price history, price alerts, deal lists and price signals are switched off unless you confirm a written exception from Amazon (policy 6(y)). Amazon prices are never shown when they are older than 24 hours.
  • Credentials are stored encrypted and never shown again.
  • affilinode does not scrape other shops’ pages – most merchants’ terms forbid it. No price history is recorded for your own feeds.

Which shops you can use depends on the plan.
